Website Hit Counter Installation Instructions
Once you have completed the signup process, you will be provided with the HTML that contains the code you need for your counter. In order to install our counter on your website you must have access to the HTML code on your website. If you website was created using a web-based editor, such as Geocities or Yahoo! sites, you must make sure you are editing your HTML and just adding more text to your page.
1. Once you have signed up, copy (ctrl+c, or right click and select "copy") the counter HTML code on the screen.
2. Open your website editor and open the page (or pages) where you want the counter to appear.
3. Paste (ctrl+v, or right click and select "paste") the counter code into your HTML where you want the hit counter to show up. The counter may appear as a broken image on your page, which is normal before your page is uploaded.
4. You may use tables or other HTML formatting tools to position the counter table on your site. However, do not alter your the HTML code we provide you as this may render your hit counter inoperable.
5. Now all you need to do is save your page and upload it to view your new hit counter. If you wish to choose a new counter style or reset your counter number, simply re-register and install another hit counter!
