Yes, it is true. Our website hit counters are 100% free!
Each of our hit counters comes with a small text link that appears directly below the counter image. The text link that appears under the hit counter image simply links back to the website-hit-counter.com homepage or another page within our website. All we request is that you link back to our website using the text link appears below your hit counter once you download it onto your website. However, we invite you to link to any page in our website if you don't like the text link under your counter. All of the content and subject matter on our site is geared towards webmaster services, tools, information and website design resources.
Again, We request that our hit counter customers link back to our site using the text link we provide with each counter to support the free services we offer webmasters - but it is not required. However, please know if you manipulate the counter code we provide you it will likely deactivate your hit counter.
